Dwayne Blake also known as DJ D-Dubs, is a multi-genre urban DJ, Promoter, Radio Host and Remixer, who can cater to a wide variety of crowd with is music experience
and Dynamic play style.

Since a young age he was around a lot of different music, His father who is a DJ “Mike Ruff-Cut Lloyd” would be around a lot of Garage and House music, His uncle who was an MC for a sound crew, would be around Reggae music and his mother would listen to R&B and Soca music. Despite all this he first love was with Hip-hop music, he
bought his first ever CD which was Will Smith and Jazzy Jeff, ‘Boom shake the room’ in 1993 and grew his music collection from there on with his own money.

The interest of DJing started from young where he was taught by his father on Vinyl. He got his first pair of CD decks at 14 and would start making mixes by recording them on cassette tapes and playing them on his Walkman while at school. During college he played at small parties and family events it was also during this time that he discovered his love for dancehall music which had a huge impact on the music that he played and listened to.

It wasn’t until University where he met he’s good friend Kayes and created “D&K Productions” a DJ Duo consisting of D-Dubs and Kayes. This was the start of playing at Uni events and house parties which then lead us to play around the country, having residences at a few venues in Luton and joining an internet radio station “JamRock radio”.

Today D-dubs is resident in a bar in North London and still takes on bookings, Has had over 3,000 downloads from his mix tape series “Bashment Vybz” & “Soca Splash” and is actively doing a Weekly Podcast Show titled “Dynamic” which gets an average of 300 downloads a week.
